Congratulations to our Queensland Australian Training Awards finalists

Eight Queensland finalists have been announced in the nation’s most prestigious training accolades - the Australian Training Awards.

Queensland finalists in the Australian Training Awards are:

  • Craig Folker, Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical/Electronic Trade, Gold Coast Institute of TAFE for Australian Apprentice of the Year
  • Michael Pope, Certificate IV in Competitive Manufacturing, Applied Training Solutions for Australian Apprentice (Trainee) of the Year
  • Ariella Anderson, Diploma of Visual Art, Wide Bay Institute of TAFE for Vocational Student of the Year
  • Priyanka Luecke, Certificate III in Business Administration, Martin College for Stella Axarlis Australian School-based Apprentice of the Year
  • Vincent Schrieber, Certificate II in Water Industry Operations, Simmonds & Bristow for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year
  • Gilkatho Pty Ltd, from Milton for the Prime Minister’s Small Business Awards
  • Blue Dog Training from Toowong for Small Training Provider of the Year
  • Queensland Alumina Limited from Gladstone for Employer of the Year
