Nomination writing tips
- Keep your writing clear and simple. Use dot points.
- Use the submission questions as headings. You may also choose to include subheadings if necessary.
- Focus strongly on giving practical examples and evidence to support your statements in your responses.
- Within your responses, be sure to highlight what you believe might make you or your organisation stand out above other nominees.
- Do not exceed the maximum number of pages specified for your category.
- Original documents, such as certificates, should not be included in your attachments. Ensure that only copies are submitted.

Checklist
- Have you addressed all the submission questions relating to your award category?
- Have you completed all sections of the nomination form?
- Has the person being nominated for the award signed the declaration section (Section 3) of the nomination form?
- Have you provided five hard copies of your submission (including any attachments) and the nomination form?
